The XXIX AiIG PhD Summer School will be a 3-day event as outlined below:
- Day 1 – 7 September 2021: “Research and societal impact”
- Day 2 – 8 September 2021: “Academic impact and research evaluation”
- Day 3 – 9 September 2021: “Perspectives on research impact”
Members of the AiIG community, external speakers, experts, and practitioners will deliver lectures, seminars, roundtables, and practical sessions. These include:

Some sessions will also involve AiIG mentors to support further PhD students to develop a comprehensive understanding of research impact and skills to assess the potential impact of their research.
